MN1 Application for toddlers' UK citizenship

Hello,

I've recently got an ILR and am in the process of applying for my children's UK citizenship. The process is pretty straightforward except one part - referees.

Their ages are:
- 2yr 3mo
- 2mo

My question is that:
- For the 2 year-old child, is it ok to ask his daycare nursery's staff to be his first referee?
- For the 2 month-old child, what's the recommended/possible options for referee, considering that she has never been to any nursery? I know that GPs/nurses/health visitors don't do this any more. If her brother's nursery staff has met her and knows how she looks like, can the staff act as her referee as well?

Thanks!

Was the 2 month old born before or after the date your ILR was granted?

Thanks secret.simon and CR001, yes she was born before I got ILR, hence I'm registering her for citizenship (instead of applying for passport straight away).
