Passport application for my son

Hi
I have booked my naturalisation appointment for 9th of July. I would like to apply for British passport for my son using my ILR. As i need to send my original ILR and passport documents to Passport office, I am planning to apply after my naturalisation appointment.
Is there any chance of HO request my ILR/passport while processing my naturalisation application? If so, will i get an excuse since my ILR and passport will be with passport office?
