Success story: Applying for UK passport with foreign passport in a different surname

Hi All,
I just wanted to post a success story about getting a UK passport and applying with a foreign passport that has a different surname. Hopefully, this can help people with the same issue.
My husband has the same name as his father and has 2 nationalities Brazilian and Italian, both nationalities handle surname differently for this case. So he has 2 passports with different name order.
He's been living in the UK and applied for citizenship with his Italian name.
Thanks to this forum I found out that many people had issues with that, as the UK has a policy of one name only.
We decided to contact the Brazilian consulate(which was awesome and very useful by the way, different from the Italian consulate that was %$^%&$) and they issued him with an official explanation of why his name is different from the Italian one and why he cannot change his Brazilian name. We've sent this together with his application and he got approval very fast without any issues. Huurray!
