English Language Requirements for Naturalisation

Hi

I have a similar question.

In August 2008 I passed the Life in the UK test and I got my ILR on Dec 2008 (I took the IELTS on 1998 after a summer English course at Sussex University but did not enroll on a degree) I don't remember if the English course was mandatory then but I did it.

After being in the UK for over 13 years I would like to apply for British citizenship,

My question is: Do I need to take an English test or am I exempt?

Many thanks

You need to do w new B1 test that is in the current ho test and test provider list.

You are only exempt if you are from an exempt country, under18 or over 65 of if you have a UK degree.
