My wife and daughter got their ILR in April this year. do they have to wait 12 months to apply for naturalisation. I read on the gov site that they need not wait 12 months if they are married to a British citizen. I'm a British citizen who got citizenship via Naturalisation in 2016.

Your wife can apply straightaway, as you are a British citizen, if she can satisfy all the requirements.

For your daughter it would be the MN1 application - if she was born in the UK after you received ILR she is already a British citizen.
