Expired BRP lost

Hi my daughter was born in UK in 2015 and both myself and wife got our ILRs last year so I know I just have to register her for british citizenship. 2 yrs back we went home so had to apply for her tier 2 dependent visa so she received a BRP which expired early last year. Now I was trying to fill the MN1 form for her and they are asking for her existing BRP. That BRP expired last year and was sent back to homeoffice (my mistake) when my wife and other kids got their IRLs.

So now we dont have her BRP, what to do now? I tried to select the option lost BRP but then they ask for police report and other stuff but it has already been expired so how do we proceed?

Thanks for your help guys.

A UK born child doesn't need a valid visa to apply for citizenship.

I know but when I try to fill the MN1 form it asks if the applicant has or has had a BRP, if yes then can you provide that with the application, if i select NO then it asks the reason, if I select lost then it asks for a police report and it must be reported to UKBA...

My question is how do I proceed?

Should I select: NO I don't have a BRP for my current leave?
