ILR Dependant Naturalisation question

Hi,
I got my ILR visa in April 2019 and Assuming that I can apply for Naturalisation by March 2020. My question is what is the requirement for dependant (my wife in my case) naturalisation.
what's the time period requirement for dependant i.e. 3 or 5 years.
after completion of that time period does she need to apply for ILR first and then wait for a year to apply for naturalisation or she can apply directly for naturalisation once I become British citizen.
please advise

Your wife must have ILR before qualifying to apply for British citizenship. If you have been granted BC, she can apply immediately after ILR assuming she meets all the standard requirements.

Could you please also confirm the time require for a dependent to be eligible for ILR. i.e. 3 or 5 years? please give reference to Home office rules.
Also can you provide reference to HO rules where it says about one must have ILR before applying for naturalization.

It is 5 years before ILR can be applied for on any dependent visa. These rules were changed in 2012. Immigration rules part 8 - PBS family memmbers

Your dependents need to be free from immigration time restrictions, i.e. this is ILR.
There is no shortcut or way to avoid ILR.
