Hi Everyone

I would you give me advise whether following is right to consider

My wife has recently applied for her ILR. She has applied for her ILR after 6 years. She did not apply after 5 years as her tier 1 dependant visa is still valid until Mar 2020.

Now if she gets ILR can she apply straightaway for British Citizenship? As she has already completed 5 + 1 year. i.e. 5 year to be eligible for ILR and 1 year to be eligible for citizenship. or she has to wait for another 12 month after her ILR ?

Many Thanks
Ahmed

Then once she has ILR, she can apply for citizenship as spouse of BC provided she meets all the requirements for an application based on 3 years residence, including the absence limit and being physically present at the start of the 3 year period.
