seeking a lawyer for Grandpa British

Hi,

My grandpa had a British Passport issued in Palestine while it was a British mandate. My family would like to trace this hoping to get British citizenship or status of British Protected Person, and are seeking to hire a lawyer/solicitor who specializes in such area. Any recommendation for lawyers who have some experience in this area?

Regards

Under the boards Terms and Conditions, members are not permitted to post the names or details of solicitors or lawyers.

Probably also useful if you continue in your existing topic where you have received a lot of advice and links already.

You have already asked the question about your grandfather before. Did you go through all the links in my response?

There are at least two reasons why your grandfather does not qualify for British citizenship.

Palestine was a Mandate Territory, not a British colony.

There have been at least three major changes to British citizenship law, each making British citizenship narrower and harder to get since 1948; the British Nationality Acts of 1948 and 1981 and the Immigration Act 1971.
