naturalisation as a British Citizen- Non-applying dependants

Hi,
I am a little bit confused with this question in the naturalization application form: "Do you have any dependants not applying with you at this time?"
I am married to a British citizen and have 2 kids born in the UK, I am the only one applying for citizenship, Do I say "Yes" or "No"?

Hi,
I would be very grateful if anyone could help me with this question.
I am applying for British citizenship, my wife and my children have British citizenship. regarding this question " Do you have any dependants not applying with you at this time?", do I answer Yes or No.

Hi it’s probably not much of help as I got the same confusion, but intuitively I think it means your previous visa dependent, such as Tier 2 dependent?

I'd say 'yes', and see if that causes any problems. You should be able to go back and change your answers; it is very easy to click the wrong answer in an on-line form.

The answer is NO. that is the option for some people to apply as a family for naturalisation ( joint application ). Your children are already british citizens, they do not need to apply with you.
