I need help in following case scenario, any help will be appreciated.

I got my ILR in october 2020 and my child was born in August 2020. Now I have to apply for child naturalisation and question in form is bothering me which says Nationality of child. I haven't applied for any Nationality for the child. What to answer for that question then? I read somewhere to write "officially stateless" as answer. Is this right? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

What are the parents nationality?

Parents nationality is Pakistan but we didn't applied for babies Pakistani id card as we were thinking to go for direct naturalisation of baby after father's ILR

This question will not impact the application anyways.

Will they not ask for child ID card or passport as a proof to support the claim. Sorry to bother you.

No proof needed. I have applied for my own daughter in 2018 and selected Pakistani (she did not have any Pakistani passport or NICOP then). Many others have done the same. This question is irrelevant to child’s entitlement to be registered as BC.
