MN1 - Country of nationality for a baby who does not have any nationality registered

Hello people,

My baby was born on June 2020. I (baby's father) got ILR on Jan 2021. Since my child was born before I got ILR, I am going to apply for registering my kid as British Citizen using MN1 form. There is a question which asks "Country of nationality" for the applicant who is my kid in this case.

He is only 8 months old and he never travelled outside the UK since his birth. I am an Indian and still hold Indian passport with UK ILR. However I have not registered my child as an Indian with the Indian embassy here. What should I fill where it asks for the nationality of my child? Should I mention him as stateless since he is never registered with any country? Please help.

Thanks,
Siva

I think he will be stateless. Also, a non-British citizen is covered under NHS only for the first 3 months. Post that, the GP would be looking for his Visa/IHS fees. Just FYI.
