My BRC was expiring on 5th April so I applied to get in updated with settled status on 15th March.
Biometrics are to be done on 9th april.
Is it possible to send the citizenship application while waiting for the BRC to be updated?

On the face of it, it is your card that expires, not your permanent residence status, so it should be ok. For peace of mind you may add an explanation at the end of the form or as a separate note with your other documents.
