Will applying for naturalization prevent me from travelling abroad?

I know that in ILR case, when you apply you cannot travel abroad, in doing so your application is automatically withdrawn.
But is it the same case for naturalization? After submitting application will I have to wait for decision before I can travel or leave UK?
Thanks

Different rules/law apply to naturalisation - it doesn't come under immigration regulations - so not issue to travel - suggest you have your biometrics appointment before you travel.

Hi,
NO issues with travelling. Only advise is to keep checking your mail/email to ensure any relevant documents asked for are sent back immediately.
I have been away for 2 months after application.
But UKVI has record of any travel even after application as it showed up on my SAR when i asked for it after coming back to UK.
Thanks.
