Hi. I am filling up my daughter's MN1 form and stuck on 3 questions.
Daughter was born in 2019. I got ILR in 2021. I will apply for Naturalization in 2022. Daughter does not have any passport yet. What will be the answers for these questions. I am filling up her form myself. These 3 questions are for us or for her? I just cannot understand
1. Are either of the parents of the child (as stated in this application) applying for British citizenship on an AN form? Yes/No
2. I would like my child (as stated in this application) to be registered as a British citizen even if my own application for British citizenship is refused? Yes/No
3. Have you had settlement in the UK? Yes/No

No - if no parent is applying for naturalisation at the same time as the child.
2. I would like my child (as stated in this application) to be registered as a British citizen even if my own application for British citizenship is refused?
Yes/No - this should be linked to the previous question I guess, if you say no before, you, logically, shouldn't receive this question. but the answer to confirm your desire that your child to be considered nonetheless.
3. Have you had settlement in the UK?
If the child has successful ILR then yes, otherwise it would be no.

Since you have not applied for naturalization at the time of the MN1 application then the answer to this will be No.

2. I would like my child (as stated in this application) to be registered as a British citizen even if my own application for British citizenship is refused? Yes/No
If you answer No to above, this question does not appear.

3. Have you had settlement in the UK? Yes/No
No, as she was born here.
But since your daughter was born in 2019.. which visa has she been on until now?

A
UK born child is
entitled to register immediately after a parent is granted ILR.
