Dear all,
I trust you are all doing ok by God grace; before I start, I need to thank you all for your support. because of this forum I have found the solutions on many of the immigration issues I encountered in the past years. Thanks a lot, and God bless the moderators and the founder of this platform.
Today my concern is as follow:
In 2013, I was arrested for deception accusation and this deception seems to now be in my HO record
I have my ILR in 2020 as a parent of a British child 5 years route (Have been living in UK or 18 years on various leave).
When am I going to be eligible for naturalization?
Can I put the application this year?
Thanks for your support and helps may the Lord bless you

If the deception is in the Home Office records, at least 10 years after the deception was committed (so, 2023 or later).

You need to have been of good character for at least 10 years before the date of your naturalisation application.

Thanks for your response, due to the fact that the HO takes long time to process the naturalisation, Can I put the application sometime next next year so by the time they are looking for the application we will already be in 2023?

Thanks

You need to meet the requirements for naturalisation on the date of application.

What happened that they accused you of deception? Was it real or false accusations

It was a false accusation, but I was not given the right of appeal. I was arrested and detained for nearly 2 weeks; after that I did not have a chance to clear my name. However, in 2019 the court found out they did not follow their own procedure, I should have been given in country right of appeal which it did not happened. Despite all the HO has still kept that deception in my record
