Mistake in online submission

Hi all,

So reading through this forum to see what documents I need to upload for my British citizenship application, I realised that I have made a mistake on the online application form that I submitted.

To the question "Have you made any previous UK immigration applications in the UK or Abroad?” I have answered 'No' in the application.

I now realise that I should have answered 'Yes' and added details of my previous UK visas.

1. First UK business visa in 2011
2. Second UK business visa in 2013
3. Got my Tier 2 general work visa in 2014
4. Extended the Tier 2 general work visa in 2017
5. Got my ILR in July 2020

Now, is there anything I can do now to rectify this? I submitted my application last week and will be going for the biometric appointment on Dec 24th.

I saw some people here mentioned writing a cover letter, someone else suggested leave it as it is and they will contact you if they need more details.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

As you have still time to load documents before the biometrics appoint suggest you write/load a covering giving all the details that you missed. Should not be an issue.

Thanks. Do you happen to know what details I should add in my cover letter for the previous visa applications as i never clicked that and checked what fields they need?

I was thinking for each previous visa, I will mention:
1. Visa reference number
2. Issue and Expiry Date

Anything else?

Just also state your name under which you applied - that's what the online form asks for (relevant for married women normally).
