Does anyone know how long after the email (approval) does it take for the local council to contact you

And

Do you need to book the ceremony or wait for the council to book it

I was notified via email that my application has been approved but when I rang council they said that the certificate has not arrived yet ..does anyone know how long does it take please ..

I'm my case I got approval Email and then after 2 weeks I received letter from council to attend the ceremony and then just 2 days before the ceremony I received invitation letter from the home office. So give 2 or 3 weeks
