Hi
Thank you for coming by to help.

We are looking to apply for my husbands British citizenship and don't have a clue where to start.

He has IRL, an esol skills for life entry 3 certificate dated 2014 which I think is OK as if I remember this was used for irl too.
What other documents do we need?
What are the questions like on the form etc?

I was looking for an option to upload pic of the certificate but can't find one?

The certificate is a
PEARSON
EDEXCEL
Entry level certificate
Skills for life (listening and speaking)
Level attained - entry 3.

Will this do or does he need something different?

I've had a look online and getting mixed responses.

Thank you very much

Have you reviewed the official guidance? https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... n-guidance.
If husband had to prove English for ILR he can rely on this - you can upload the certificate with his other documents.
You can start the online application and save progress for up to two months before submission: https://www.gov.uk/apply-citizenship-in ... w-to-apply.

Thank you very much. I will have a look at the link you've posted once I have a little bit more time.

https://www.gov.uk/english-language/app ... ifications

This is the link I looked at thinking it should be OK.
His qualifications is equivalent of b1- esol speaking and listening skills for life entry 3.

I don't want him wasting time with courses if he doesn't need it. Time is very hard for us as we have 2 disabled children too.

Thank you for your help it's much appreciated
