Hi All,

My wife has (non-eu) ILR and I have just recently had Naturalisation, I plan to apply for her naturalization in near future, wanted to know if her current and previous passports will be sufficient to prove the 5 years living, or do we need to provide other documents as well?

Many thanks,

S

Also I have seen members using nhs letters, hmrc letters etc, which category require these sort of documents?
Unless offcourse if passport is lost.

For UK ILR holders passport(s) covering the residency period are normally sufficient - it would be three years if applying as spouse of a Brtish citizen.
It's mainly EU citizens who use additional documents because their passports don't get stamped.
