Date first landed in UK & ECCTIS Confusion

Dear Mods,

Thanks for all your help in the past. I am finally in the British citizenship forum :). As a part of filling in the BC form, I have a question relating to a question on the date first landed in UK.

History is that my kids landed in UK in June 2014 and were initially as Tier 2 ICT Dependents, then switched to a Tier 2 General Dependent visa within UK. As a part of their ILR application, I entered the date they switched to Tier 2 General dependent as the date they landed in UK.

Now, the confusion I have is should I still continue mentioning the date they switched to the T2G dependent visa as when they landed in UK & put in a cover letter to explain OR change it to June 2014.

The second question is on ECCTIS. I had submitted a NARIC certificate for Academic language qualification as a part of ILR application in 2021. Can I re-use that OR do i need a fresh one from ECCTIS? Thanks in advance, mods

I think first landing is first arrival in the UK, not first switch nor extension grant. Answer questions truthfully. Why did you give a false answer previously? Explain your confusion in a cover note.

Naric certificate should be okay.

Thank you, very clear. I did put in my rationale on a cover letter while applying for my ILR. But for BC, I have now amended the date to show as 2014.

One follow on question is : my wife is applying for BC while I wait for some time. In the question where it says “are there any dependents not applying with you at this stage”, should she mention “No”.
Because as i have my ILR, I am not dependent on her anymore.
