MN1 Application query

Hi,
I have a few questions as I am in the process for applying to register as a British citizen for my daughter. A bit of a background information, I am a British citizen via naturalisation route and both my husband and daughter got their ILR last year in May. My question are as follows
1. My understanding in using the MN1 online application is right under my circumstances?
2. For the following question - Choose which category to apply under, I have chosen child born outside India and under that there are a few options which are not eligible so I have chosen ‘other at the discretion of home office’ Hope this is what most of us who are not British citizens by descent have chosen for a child born outside the UK
3. My Child’s Indian passport has expired although she has a valid BRP. Can I use the BRP as a valid proof of ID and provide expired passport details along with it? Can home office deny her application for not having an in date passport
Any help will be much appreciated
Thanks in advance.

1. My understanding in using the MN1 online application is right under my circumstances? Correct.
2. For the following question - Choose which category to apply under, I have chosen child born outside India you mean outside the UK? and under that there are a few options which are not eligible so I have chosen ‘other at the discretion of home office’ Hope this is what most of us who are not British citizens by descent have chosen for a child born outside the UK I think that's correct.
3. My Child’s Indian passport has expired although she has a valid BRP. Can I use the BRP as a valid proof of ID and provide expired passport details along with it? Yes.Can home office deny her application for not having an in date passport No - in date passports are not a strict requirement for registration (or naturalisation).
Any help will be much appreciated
Thanks in advance.
