Mistake in naturalisation application - need advice

Hi All

I have just realised a mistake on my application form where it asks 'Have you made any previous UK immigration applications in the UK or abroad?'

I answered NO assuming that my ILR application was made just a year ago of which I have also supplied BRP details, so I took this question to mean any previous 'naturalisation' applications and therefore answered NO.

Should I now cancel the application and resubmit with the correct details of my Tier 2 and ILR visa applications? How do I go about cancelling the current application, if so?

Write up a cover letter explaining the mistakes instead of cancellation and waiting the refund.

Who do I send the cover letter to? I’ve also not received the IDV link, and I’m able to book an appointment through SopraSteria. Should I book the appointment?

You can upload it as part of your supporting docs when you attend your biometric.

Thanks Bash.

I have received the payment confirmation email and am able to book the appointment through SopraSteria. I have not yet received the acknowledgement email nor the IDV app email. Shall I go ahead and book the in person appointment or wait?

"Before" he attends his biometrics! It has to be done in advance to avoid documents submitted without the cover letter.
