Hello,

I have a question related to my british citizenship application. I have applied for naturalisation on 20-sept 2022 after getting ILR on Tier 2 (5 years) +1 Year after ILR. I had one speed ticket sp30 with 100£ fine and 3 points on April 2020 and I have declared this in my application. Is it going to be any problem to get the approval due to this ticket? Would it take more time for my application to process? I shall appreciate your response. I have not got any response yet. Thanks and Regards- Imt

Can only offer my opinion here:
declaring the fine is good practice, otherwise if it is flagged as part of the UKVI process it may be seen as deception.
That being said I can't recall seeing any reports of refusals due to traffic fines (though if you are a serial offender, not paying fines, found guilty in court, etc it could perhaps be a different picture). You only applied end of September 22, so it's not even three months since, and you wouldn't hear from them until the decision email. Unlikely a traffic fine would cause delays. Wait for the 6 months which is the UKVI target for these applications

This is beyond our knowledge. NOTE: your application is not yet delayed beyond the six months!
