Need to return my cut residence permit to home office!
Will I be ok to send it to a free address? Has anyone done it that way? And is there such address?
Thank!

residence permit
You have a BRP card if you got ILR through SET(P). Residence Permit is something specific to EU citizens and their family. Just advising to use the correct terminology.
You return your BRP card to the address you would have received in the pack at your ceremony. Google is obviously also your friend!

I found this free address and it seems that it's for returning the RPs
Freepost RRYX-GLYU-GXHZ, Returns Unit, PO Box 163, Bristol, BS20 1AB
Anyone can confirm it? And can you send secured post (i.e., ask for evidence of posting) to free address?

Btw, in my ceremony pack there is absolutely no reference to the need of sending back the BRP in any of the letters/documents included! I learnt about it online!

It would be mentioned in your Citizenship ceremony invitation email along with the address where you need to post it. It’s not freepost though.
