Citizenship Application (Referee time limit?)

Hi All

I am applying for my wife's citizenship application and we got one of our referees to sign back in April. However second referee who is overseas will sign next week.

Is the first referee date of signature now too old >90days? should we get an updated signed form or it doesnt matter?

There's no official guidance on that but I suggest use common sense.
Three months is probably ok but if you can get one re-signed that's preferable in my book.
It will also remind your referee that you have yet to apply. Whilst referees are rarely contacted some will probably expect to be contacted.

Thanks. I thought as much.

One more question, we are going to be moving on 24th July, is it ok to apply now with our current address and book biometrics (since it a month long wait), and then apply for a change of address after we have moved? or is it better to just wait until after we move?

If you will still have means to retrieve your mails e.g. through landlord, agents or new occupants then by all means use present address, if not better to use your new address.
