Apply for UK Citizenship

Hi,

Can someone please assist me regarding the below rule of " TIME SPENT OUTSIDE UK" as the Home office website says

You should not have:

spent more than 450 days outside the UK during the 5 years before your application
spent more than 90 days outside the UK in the last 12 months

MY CASE :

My wife has spent more than 90days outside UK in the last 12months , her absence as below . Her ILR was issued on 18th Oct 2022 :

1st Absence :
21st Jan2023 to 7th March 2023 ----------Total 46 days

2nd Absence :
1st Aug 2023 to 7th Oct 2023 ( expected arrival as on the date of sending this mail) -----Total 68days

IN TOTAL - 1st & 2nd Absence together is : 114 days

She got her ILR issued on 18th Oct 2022 & her eligibility as such starts from 19th Oct 2023 . Giving the above absence is she eligible to apply for UK Citizenship. The reason for her 2 absence for such a long time is due to our Daughters Wedding as it required a lot of planning back at her home town in India .

Your assistance would be much appreciated.

Thanks & Regards

Up to a 100 days in the last 12 months are normally disregarded.
Suggest she waits a while until the absences are down to 100 or less.
