Hi respected all seniors,
I have some questions,
1- I want to renew my british passport what documents do i need because my passport is expired nearly 1.5 half year now.
2- I want to apply for my son first british passport what documents do i need for this and can i apply both on same time or do i need my valid British Passport for my child first British passport please seniors if you guide me on this. I will be really appreciate. Thank you in advance

The system will tell you what is required, but basically likely to be:
1 - for your application your expired passport, possibly your naturalisation certificate (if you gained British citizenship through that route).
2 - for child birth certificate (showing at least your name), your naturalisation certificate

These will be separate applications with separate reference numbers, you need to see what they request and whether documents can be sent in one package. You should be able to start the applications online and save before submitting.

it is not possible to save passport applications to my knowledge but can go through the process, generate the checklist and not submit (it is a short application). Please note that passports processed from abroad are notorious to take a longer time than applications processed in the UK so be prepared to wait to receive back your documents. Worth making copies of the documents as you will need to send in originals. You will also need a professional referee over 25 years old for your son (not sure if you will need one for you too as your passport has been expired for a while) https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... d-referees
Worth calling the passport line and ask if you can post all documents in one envelope with both refrence numbers and include a cover note.

I am not sure I understand your query, I thought I answered above - submit both applications with everything the checklist will request (you can get to the checklist stage without paying, collect all documents, then pay when you are confident you have everything you need), explain in a cover note what documents are for which application, and then write both reference numbers on the envelope.

I am not able to understand your query, i'm sorry. Do you want to apply for all renewals together? What is Gerrys? I advised you above that if you go through the online application process (and stop before paying) it will show you a checklist of all that you need. You can collect all the documents, then pay for the applications, write all reference numbers on the envelope and explain in a cover letter that you are submitting documents for the three applications.

The documents needed will be the same whether you apply online or by post. Complete an online application without paying and review the list of documents.

Some one gona fill application form by hand from Uk because i need countersignatory for my kids and then they will email me i just want to know if i will print application form its will be accepted in Pakistan?? Or please can you tell me who can do countersignatory in Paksitan for me thank you

Who can sign your form and photo
Your countersignatory must:

have known you (or the adult who signed the form if the passport is for a child under 16) for at least 2 years
be able to identify you, for example they’re a friend, neighbour or colleague (not just someone who knows you professionally)

Who cannot be your countersignatory
You cannot ask someone to countersign your passport if you’re:

related to them by birth or marriage
in a relationship with or live at the same address as them
If you’re applying in the UK
Your countersignatory must:

live in the UK
have a current British or Irish passport


If you’re applying outside the UK
Your countersignatory must have a current British, Irish or other EU, US or Commonwealth passport.

If they have a US, Commonwealth, or non-British or non-Irish EU passport, you must include with your application a colour photocopy of the page with their photograph on it.

Your application will be processed faster if they have a British or Irish passport.

If you can use a British citizen your application should be processed faster. What you could do is ask them to send you the signed form by courier, and then you include it in your envelope, or get them to write your application reference number on an envelope and post it to the passport office that you will be sending your docs to, and explain in a cover note. As your application process is all in paper, I am not sure if a printed off form would do.

I just have a question. I am trying to make a appointment for renewal of my British passport form Pakistan. I sent them them email to make a appointment on hmpo@gerrys.com.pk couple of times but no reply from. What should i do its really frustrated. Please any one have Islamabad HMPO contact number where we can contact them amd make a appointment please guide thank you much.

Unless you are in the UK you can't, the first question in the application is "do you live in the UK". He would need to declare something that isn't true, which isn't a wise move.
