Dear Sir/Madam

I really thankful to everyone who supported in my wife’s visa journey.

I received her naturalisation certificate back from HMP which had been folded and creased by HMP.

Should I compliant to HMP for this and request for a replacement?

My wife has received her British Passport.

Your help would be appreciated.

Thanks
TJ

You can complain but unless it’s seriously damaged it’s unlikely they’ll pay to replace it.
Go to the complaints page on the HMPO website.
Complaints: https://www.gov.uk/government/organisat ... -procedure
Don't call - fill in the complaint form online!

I agree with the above. Folded and creased isn't a deal breaker. You might not even get a response from the HO.

My certificate got creased, I pressed it under some books. It is (unfortunately) normal practice for them not to take the same level of care of certificates as they ask applicants to do. As far as it is readable, place it under some books for a couple of days and flatten it.

Hi All

Thank you for the quick response.

I spoke to customer service who initially was not interested to take a complaint over the phone, however, I told her that complaint can be done over the phone as per their website. Customer service agent filled the complaint form on my behalf.

She advised that it takes 72 hours for them to get back to me.

I will wait for their response.

Thank you

Regards
TJ
