Post Citizenship Ceremony (BNO)

Post by mmhk852 » Thu Jul 25, 2024 4:47 pm

I have a BN(O) Passport and have applied for BC, and have finally been accepted and invited to a Citizenship ceremony in HK on 1st August after 2 years of waiting!

I need to travel almost weekly and I don't have the ability to send in my BN(O) and wait for my British Passport which may take based on recent postings in this forum up to 2 months.

I have read some information which says that I don't have to give up my BN(O) to apply for British Citizen passport and that I can hold "dual" status, is this actually possible? and if so how?

Thanks in advance for any guidelines.
