Clarification on Eligibility for Naturalisation Application for Myself and My Children

Dear Sir/Madam,

My husband arrived in the UK in March 2019 on a Skilled Worker visa and obtained his British citizenship through naturalisation in July 2025. I, along with our two children (Below 18yrs), joined him in December 2020 as Skilled Worker dependants. We have recently been granted Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) in October 2025.

We initially understood that we must wait 12 months after receiving ILR before applying for British citizenship. However, from various official and community sources, I have learned that as the spouse and children of a British citizen, we may be eligible to apply for naturalisation/registration immediately after obtaining ILR, without waiting for 12 months,

Could you please confirm if this is correct?
If yes:

Do we need to wait until Dec 2025 (when five years period completes) Becasue We will complete five years of residence in the UK by December 2025. ?

If Yes: Can I include myself and my two children in the same application (AN), similar to our ILR submission?

Or do my children need to apply separately (some one said using Form MN1)?

Please share the official application links for both (adult and child) applications. (https://www.gov.uk/apply-citizenship-spouse - Here where I read about naturlisation)

and I would appreciate your guidance on whether we can proceed with the applications now or need to wait until the full five-year period.

Thank you for your time and guidance.

You can include your children on your application (form AN, which will adapt to MN1 when you add under 18 children). You don't have to wait until December to apply. Google apply for naturalisation to easily find the online form.
