Dependent Eligibility for Citizenship

HI

I received my Citizenship on Nov 2025, The timeline for dependents (Wife/Kids) is

Arrived in UK July 2020,
ILR July 2025

When can they apply for Citizenship ?

They can apply now if all requirments are met and you have attended your ceremony. Your wife's application will be based on 3 years residence and the requirments for 3 years residence.

Thank you for clarifying. I have got my naturalization certificate and passport. Please can you you elaborate what are the requirements to be met for them to apply ?

As regards the children, how old are they? There are slight differences in requirements for children based on their age under 18. Are any of the children over the age of 18?

Absences must be below 90 days in the last 12 months (this is menial, but I couldn't let go of an opportunity to correct secret.simon :D)

Well-spotted. I must have been elsewhere when spelling out the requirements for the umpteenth time.

My children are still studying in school, I had come on tier 2 visa and they came as dependent. Now that I got citizenship after due process. Do they wait for one year after ILR or can they apply now

If children are under 18 and have ILR they can apply now.
