Hi, would appreciate some urgent guidance please. My wife has submitted her Naturalisation Application and we are in the process of uploading supporting documents prior to biometrics. We have just realised that we accidentally shortened the first referee's name in the application form (e.g Sam rather than Samuel) and the referee signed the referee forms with their full first name . Would a cover letter explaining/correcting the error be sufficient to rectify this as we are unable to amend the main form? Is there a template for a covering letter? Many Thanks!

Yes, explain in a short note and upload with your other documents.
There are no templates for the applications as normally not required.
Just state your details, the error, and the correction.
