British naturalisation application

Hello Advisor,
It’s been over a week, and I haven’t received confirmation that the Home Office has received my application. I usually receive an email confirming that the Home Office has received my application and is aiming to provide a decision soon, but I haven’t got one this time. Does this mean my application hasn’t reached the Home Office yet, or should I check the status of my application?

This can take a week or more, sometimes no email is received.
Have they taken your payment?

Yes, I have received the payment confirmation email. It has already been more than two weeks now. Should I send an email to confirm acknowledgment? If so, could you please let me know which email address I should use?

Acknowledgements aren't usually sent. You won't be kept up to date every step of the way.
Clarification on MN1 Child Application and Evidence Requirements

Dear Advisor,
I would like to seek clarification regarding a minor applicant who has applied for registration as a British citizen using Form MN1, alongside a parent who has applied for naturalisation as the spouse of a British citizen.
Given that current processing times can take around six months, I would like to understand what happens if the child turns 18 while the application is still pending. In such a case, would the applicant be required to meet adult naturalisation requirements, such as the English language qualification and the Life in the UK test, or would the application continue to be assessed based on their age at the time of submission?
Additionally, I have recently read in this forum where child applicant have been asked to provide school attendance records. Could you please confirm whether this is a mandatory requirement for older children, or if it is requested only in certain circumstances? Would it be advisable to arrange such documents in advance, or should they only be provided if specifically requested?
Furthermore, if school attendance is requested, could you clarify what period is typically expected? Would providing attendance for the current academic year be sufficient, or is it generally necessary to provide records covering multiple years or the full period of residence?
I would appreciate your guidance on these points.

application is processed based on the facts as at the date of application - No tests required, except the 18 year old will have to attend the ceremony, as an adult is able to swear the oath to the King. you will be requested for the ceremony fee, in due course.

A mandatory requirement would be mentioned in the guidance - I know there's mention of it elsewhere but in different circumstances, I believe.

I don't know but you are unlikely to be asked for it.
