Hi , I have applied for British citizenship for myself and my minor daughter. While we are waiting for a decision, are we allowed to travel outside the UK and return using our current passports linked with evisa and the status is settled ?

Thank you for those details. I have a question regarding my minor daughter’s status. Since she is under 18 and does not need to attend a citizenship ceremony, does she officially become a British citizen the moment the Home Office approves her application? If this happens while we are abroad, will she be able to re-enter the UK with her passport linked with evisa

Yes, that's not an issue.

Yes, her e-visa won't magically disappear. Just return as usual and then apply for the British passport
