Is there some place in London - like a free legal clinic, or free legal aid network run by law students for example - to get expert advice about immigration issues?

thanks,

Immigration advice from law students could only serve one purpose, devastation.
You are on an immigration forum, just put down your query in details and with honesty, and I am sure you will get some good guidance. :)

Besides asking your questions here, you can also try:

http://www.iasuk.org/home.aspx

http://www.communitylegaladvice.org.uk/

http://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/

Whatever advice you get, make sure you verify it from different sources. Even people here are known to have given wrong recommendations.
