I am applying for British citizenship soon and have an enquiry about one of the questions in the application form.

Question 3.2 -employment status: I am full time employee and pay tax through PAYE but I do extra work as well outside my main job for which I am registered as self employed and pay extra tax for that apart from my PAYE

Do I need to tick both "Employee" and "self employed" boxes in this question or only employee as this is my main income and PAYE tax deducted regularly.

Yes its ok to tick more than one. I wnt thru the NCS and the said it was ok.
Im self employed as well as a director so i checked both.
If your are self employed you have to submit an up to date/latest self assessment statement of account.
