Can someone please advice me about british citizenship ceremony... :?

1) Does the invited applicants have to say the oath pledge one by one or as a group :?:

2) Do we have to memorise the 3 paragraphs long oath pledge or will be reading it off from somewhere :?:

Can someone please share his/her experience who has been to this stage.

Thanks in advance :)

Generally you will read the oath, allegiance and pledge (out loud) individually. Vinny has given you the link with the written words which you can practice before the ceremony. No one is expecting you to pronounce the text perfectly.

Thanks Sushdmehta and Casa for replies. One more question...

Will they give us a piece of paper from which we will be reading off the oath, allegiance and pledge or should we memorise :?:

Cheers :)

Don't worry! You'll be given a card for you to read from.

When I went we were each given the text, the person conducting the ceremony said each bit first and we repeated it all together as a group. No need to memorise anything.
