Hi

My spouse she is out of the country 510 days during her 5.6 years stay in UK. We both having ILR for the last 5 years.

We are planning to apply for Naturalisation and found that she got 60 days over the limit. She has given a child birth in India and stayed around 6 months. Is there any exemption for pregnancy.

Hi there,

Basically I have been living in the UK since January 2003. I have finished my degree at London University in 2008. I am also doing degree in Accounting and Finance this year. Unfortunately in 2009 I was caught drinking drive, and I had court, where I was fined. According to the new law, I have to wait 5 years before I can apply for British naturalisation.

Is there any exemption, considering the fact that I have been a good citizen without any previous conviction?
