In 2007 i was granted ILR outside the immigration rules, through the legacy. my question can i apply for citizenship now or do i have to wait for 5 yrs from the date i was granted ILR?

@ rose you have to make sure you were here for 5 years legally if illegal it will be on discretion you would have to applied on. Also make sure that before you apply for your nationalisation that you were reporting to the reporting centre, that would mean that you had temporary permission before you were granted ILR. If you weren't reporting then you have to wait five years. Hope this help
