Hello All... Hope you can give me some advice as I am very confused because of different advice by different Solicitors:(
Sorry this will take your time as it is a little long, I do appreciate indeed.

They say that, a Solicitor can certify a Copy of your passport and send your application to the UK Border Agency? Is that true?

Last 5 year is HSMP JR + Indefinite... (in UK for more than 7 years, student before HSMP)
I was out of country for 520 days in 5 years and 550 days in 7 years, 70 days in the last year. One of my absence is 9 months in one go...:(

But I have granted Indefinite last year after that long absence... I worked for my British clients (I am self employed) in my country but also my mum was having chemotheraphy.
I didnt mention about my mum last year for ILR, do you think I can mention now?
So, what are your advices for me Please? Do I have to use the same statement when I have applied for ILR or can I tell them about my mum now as I was away again several times and away a total of 70 days in the last 12 months.
PLEASE HELP... I do appreciate any help/idea/advice please.

Your problem is of course the fact that you have been out of the UK for more than 450 days in the 5-year period. Accordingly download this UKBA document and have a good read, particularly of 4.1.2.

Having read that you will have a better idea of the extent of your problem.

Thank you so much John...

Please see below, it mentions ''established home'', ''estate'' and ''family''.
I am single and only rented a flat but I am trying to buy my own place. Do you think it is wort to provide some letters from my Broker and Estate Agency? Also, does famliy have to be your husband and kids? Can close friends be a family:) What is your understanding of ''established home'', ''estate'' and ''family'' PLEASE?

Can anybody advice about these to me please?

Total Absences of up to 900 (540) days - consider disregarding only if the application is otherwise in order, and if applicants have established their home, family and a substantial part of their estate here.

Thank you so much...:)
