Hi there

please help as i am little confused because i am sending my application for Naturalisation as British Citizen, I came to UK in March 2000 on Spouse Visa and was given ILR on 2002. but since then i have now broke up with my husband and my Divorce is still pending in the Court.
As i am now applying for naturalisation do i need to provide details for my partner on the form, question 1.31 on the form. Because i dont speak to my ex-husband now and he is not willing to help me now.

So please advise do i need to fill his details in the application form

thanks

You don't need your husband to apply for naturalisation.
You have held ILR for more than 12 months so you qualify in your own right, provided you meet all the other standard requirements

I should think that you can still fill in the relevant parts of the form relating to your husband. But make it clear in the cover letter that you are in bad terms with him and that you are applying under the standard requirements, not the special requirements based on marriage to a British citizen.
