Hi

I am eligible for BC end of Aug, 2011. I am a self-employed for last 4 years (own company pays VAT, C Tax and NI). I take normally a small amount as salary (pays NI and Tax for this) and takes rest as dividends.

When I extended my Tier 1 (Jan 2010) and also when I applied my PR (Aug 2010) I applied as salaried, ( even though I pay all my VAT, C Tax and self-assessment correctly i did not show the self-employed status as it requires lot of documentation on earnings,) so i took easier way as salaried and showed my payslips and bank statement. I increased my salary 3 months before my PR and applied. I did not have any problems.

This time I am thinking of applying as self-employed, so that I dont need to increase my salary and stuff. I have paid all my VAT, C Tax and self-assessment till date correctly..

Could some one suggest pls?

Thanks

As self employed, you will need a copy of your latest tax returns to be sent off with the application.

Thanks for the info.

Do I need to send any company a/c details certified from my accountant?
Do I need to show the dividends receipt?
