Hello,
Following is my history:
Sept 2002- April 2007: Student visa (applied in UK)
April 2007- April 2009: HSMP (applied in UK)
May 2009 - May 2010: Teir 1 General dependent (applied out of UK)
May 2010 - May 2011: ILR (Granted with my husband who qualified under HSMP JR)
Would I qualify for Naturalisation with my husband this month?
If yes, then what date shall I use in question 2.1 - Enter the day you first arrived with a view to staying in the UK on a long-term basis.
Many thanks in advance.
Regards,

looks like you are eligible on the basis of the information you have given.
for question 2.1, just write down the date of the first time you entrered the UK on a non-visitor visa. (so as a student for you)

Thanks for the reply joh118
The only thing I am concerned about is as a student you are traditionally meant to have done your course and have no plans to stay on for long-term basis.
By mentioning 2002 I don't want the HO to raise the question of being a student but had real intentions of settling in the UK.(which I didn't either back then)
Also I don't want to wait for another year and pay more (2 separate applications)..so I am unable to decide which is the lesser of the 2 evils.
