Hello, everyone

Hope you can put my mind at ease. Thank you in advance

I have recently applied for Naturalisation. Was a student for 10 years, whilst studying for masters, was asked by a college to teach part time, but earned well below nontaxable allowance, thus did not register for tax. As an international student, I could not get an NI number, only a temporary one ( not valid anymore) . Still, not liable for tax as earned less than 3000 per year

After receiving my ILR, I did not register for NI, as had some health issues and did not work since then. Nevertheless, I registered for my own business, which I immediately put as "dormant" ( not working) as my health did not improve for me to start working..I am planning to apply for NI and register as self-employed once my health is better and I can dedicate time to a business.

In the AN form I put myself as currently unemployed which I thought was right since the company is dormant

Was I right in doing so, or shall I start preparing myself that Home Office will get in touch with me to explain the matter ( can they find out you are a proprietor of a company even if it is dormant?)

Sorry, I hope you do not consider this too silly of a question

By the way I do not receive any benefits as my family is supporting me.

Thank you so much

Shouldn't be a problem, if HO asks, then explain the situation.
