Housing Benefit and naturalisation.

My wife and myself do not earn enough, so we are currently receiving housing benefit. Our application for BC is end of this year.
I am also planning to apply for 'job seekers allowance' this month.
Will all of this affect my BC application? Can it be refused on the grounds that i am receiving benefits?
