Anyone request Passport during BC application

Hi Guys,
I would like to know if anyone has requested his passport during British Citizenship application and received on time before travelling????
I have requested mine on 26th July and I am not sure if I will receive it before 11th August (date of travelling)

I have read people asking for their passports back - but unsure of the timelines.

I asked mine back and I can remember they sent back quite quick.

Should take 5-7 working days

mego, have you received your passport ? how did you requested it (by fax or simply by calling them) ?

Hi bohrasa,
I received my passport 2 days after requesting it as i told them I don't mind too pay for special delivery so they rang me took my bank details.
I have requested over the phone.
