On ILR, outside UK for 8 months amI elligible for Naturaliz?

Hi,
After obtaining ILR(indefinite leave to remain in UK) I was outside the UK for 8 months on job deputation.
Please advise whether I am eligible to apply for UK naturalization as of 20 August 2011.
Entered UK in the month of Aug 2004 on Holiday Working Visa
Switched to HSMP in the month - December 2005
Obtained ILR in the month - December 2009
On job deputation I have to move to the US in the month of March 2010
Returned to UK - Nov 2010 (total 8 months in the US)
Please confirm am I eligible to apply for UK naturalization.
