Will the debt managment plan affect citizenship ?

I have read many threads on this forums and I found it helpful. I have an query about citizenship I will apply for bc on march 2012 and I got debt with natwest and I am planning to do debt management plan to repay the debt is this will affect applying for citizenship. I would appreciate any help many thanks
