Hi Everyone.

I have a little scenario here and i would like to know if i should go ahead and apply for naturalization now or if i have to wait any longer.

I had 8 points and was fined £150 due to driving without insurance. I was taken to the court over this and this was in July 2006. points have since been removed from my license.
I also had 3 further points for speeding in April 2009 with £60 fine, WITHOUT going to court. Those points are still on my license.
Both of these were mentioned in my ILR application last year (sept 2010) and i still received my ILR.
Now, i am planning to apply for my naturalization and would like some advice.

1. will those points on my application effect my overall success of being nautralized?
2. do i have to wait any longer to apply as i received my ILR on 28/09/2010 and now i have been in the UK for over 5 years too?

I will appreciate all and any help from you lovely people out there!! :)

Thanks.

As you said your first conviction was in 2006 and those should be cleared now and spent. and other speeding fine without going court i personaly think you will be fine but you HAVE TO DECLEARD them with honeslty.

goodluck.
